About the Role
You will own monthly close, balance-sheet reconciliations, management reporting, statutory financial statements, and audit coordination for European entities. You will reconcile local books to the group ledger, manage intercompany activities, support finance automation, and work with controllership, tax, treasury, auditors, and local advisors.
Requirements
- Qualified accountant with ACA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent certification
- 5+ years of relevant post-qualification experience
- Statutory accounting experience owning multiple legal entities
- Familiarity with European local-GAAP reporting
- Experience with a major ERP and Excel
- Experience managing external audits and working with third-party accountants
- Reliable and predictable availability
Responsibilities
- Own monthly close, balance-sheet reconciliations, and management reporting for European operating entities
- Prepare statutory financial statements and lead audit coordination
- Reconcile local statutory books to the group NetSuite ledger and resolve reporting differences
- Manage intercompany recharges, settlements, and reconciliations
- Build coverage across European entities to provide continuity
- Contribute to finance automation and AI initiatives
- Work with controllership, tax, treasury, and local advisors to ensure compliant reporting
