About the Role
You will support month-end and quarter-end close activities, prepare group reporting packs and reconciliations, and maintain general-ledger records. You will assist with statutory reporting, audits, management information reporting, finance transformation projects, and financial-reporting documentation. You will also resolve accounts-payable queries and contribute to system development.
Requirements
- Hold a full professional accounting qualification such as ACA or ACCA
- Know UK GAAP, US GAAP, and IFRS
- Use Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel
- Communicate effectively in writing and verbally
Responsibilities
- Assist with month-end and quarter-end close processes
- Complete group reporting packs, including balance-sheet reconciliations and analytical review
- Maintain accounting records in the general ledger
- Assist with statutory reporting and audits
- Create and maintain financial-reporting process documentation
- Resolve accounts-payable queries
- Assist with quarterly management-information reporting
- Support finance transformation and other projects
- Contribute to system development
