About the Role

You will assist in the monthly close process and ensure compliance with the monthly close calendar, participating in month-end and year-end closes including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis. You will prepare accruals, perform prepaid analysis, and handle bank reconciliations. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business operations and financial reporting, providing financial insights that inform decision-making. You will assist in preparing U.S. GAAP financial statements and support external financial audits and due diligence requests. You will help ensure timely and accurate processing of accounting transactions in accordance with US GAAP and internal controls, support the implementation and enhancement of accounting systems and tools, and take on special projects and analyses as directed by management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration or Finance (completed or in progress with equivalent working experience)
  • 1+ years of direct experience supporting the accounting function of a US/Europe based international company, in public accounting or with an international company
  • Experience establishing and optimizing reporting processes to ensure accurate and timely reporting
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including written, oral, listening and presentational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines with limited supervision
  • NetSuite ERP system experience a plus
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP, accounting processes, controls and systems
  • Resume must be submitted in English

Responsibilities

  • Prepare accruals and perform prepaid analysis
  • Perform bank reconciliations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business operations and financial reporting
  • Assist in the preparation of U.S. GAAP financial statements
  • Assist with external financial audits and other due diligence requests
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and company accounting policies
  • Support the implementation and enhancement of accounting systems and tools
  • Perform special projects and analyses as directed by management
