About the Role
You'll join a high-performing Melbourne sales team and own the full new business cycle from prospecting to close. You'll sell Podium's AI platform to SMB decision-makers across key verticals, working alongside a collaborative team in the Queen & Collins CBD office. This is a hunter role with real earning potential and a clear path to senior sales positions as the business scales across ANZ.
Requirements
- 2+ years B2B or SaaS sales experience with a proven closing record
- Demonstrated success exceeding quota in a high-volume sales environment
- Strong prospecting and full sales cycle management skills
- Confident communicating with C-suite and VP-level stakeholders
- Self-motivated and resilient in a fast-paced target-driven environment
- Passion for online reviews and empowering SMBs
- Demonstrated leadership ability
- Tenacious hunger to win business and close deals
- Demonstrated experience and success in a sales role, preferably software sales
- Ability to confidentially and effectively speak with prospects of all levels including CEOs and VPs
- Ability to work in fast paced changing environment with minimal direction
- Self driven, motivated and results oriented
Responsibilities
- Close new business through consultative relationship-based selling
- Drive pipeline through proactive prospecting and outbound activity
- Align Podium solutions to prospect business goals and overcome objections
- Collaborate with the account team to accelerate deal velocity
- Maintain market and product knowledge to position Podium as a trusted advisor
