About the Role
You will anchor the New York office and own the day-to-day workplace experience. You will welcome guests, lead onboarding, manage workplace logistics and vendors, maintain facilities, plan office space, coordinate events and VIP visits, manage office communications, and improve workplace processes as the team grows.
Requirements
- Based in New York and able to work in the office 5 days a week
- Operational expertise managing the day-to-day running of a high-visibility office
- Experience acting as the primary point of contact for building management
- Experience coordinating with vendors and overseeing office maintenance and supplies
- Ability to communicate effectively with senior executives, legal partners, vendors, and office guests
- Ability to anticipate needs, identify inefficiencies, and implement new processes
- Experience planning and executing office-wide events
- Experience negotiating with vendors for high-quality and cost-effective service
Responsibilities
- Serve as the main point of contact for the office
- Welcome guests and lead onboarding
- Manage food, beverage, social, and office-perk programs
- Manage daily workplace logistics including cleaning, maintenance, security, and shipping
- Own vendor relationships from contract negotiations through performance management
- Partner with building management to maintain facilities and service standards
- Manage space planning, floor plans, and seating charts
- Coordinate logistics for internal and external events
- Provide a high-touch experience for visiting executives and clients
- Improve the local onboarding experience
- Manage office-related communications
- Maintain workplace documentation and standard operating procedures
