About the Role
You will assemble durable sensor boxes containing electronics, compute, communication hardware, and power systems. You will implement and document quality processes, create mechanical prototypes using CAD and fabrication tools, and support rapid hardware-design iterations and manufacturability feedback.
Requirements
- Enrollment in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- Mechanical or hardware assembly
- CAD modeling
- Prototyping
- 3D printing, laser cutting, or CNC machining
Responsibilities
- Build robust sensor boxes integrating electronics and mechanical systems
- Apply assembly methods for durable and rugged units
- Implement, document, and improve quality processes
- Create mechanical prototypes using CAD, 3D printing, and CNC machining
- Support hardware design iterations and manufacturability feedback
- Coordinate external assembly work and production processes as the role grows
