About the Role
You will process and monitor domestic and international wire transfers, verify transaction details, and ensure transfers are accurate, secure, timely, and compliant. You will reconcile daily activity, resolve discrepancies and failed wires, coordinate with financial institutions, maintain records, prepare reports, and support end-of-day balancing and troubleshooting.
Requirements
- Fluency in English and French
- 2+ years of experience in banking operations and treasury back-office
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or Google Workspace
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Management, or a comparable field
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Cross-functional collaboration skills
- Written and oral communication and presentation skills
Responsibilities
- Process outgoing and incoming domestic and international wire transfers
- Verify account numbers, amounts, beneficiary, and recipient information
- Execute wire transfers within cutoff times
- Develop operational synergies between Wave markets
- Reconcile daily wire activity and resolve discrepancies
- Investigate failed or returned wires
- Coordinate with correspondent banks to trace or amend transactions
- Respond to internal inquiries about wire statuses, delays, and requirements
- Monitor daily wire activity for compliance
- Maintain daily transaction records and prepare documentation and reports
- Support end-of-day balancing, reconciliation, and troubleshooting
- Operate wire processing systems and banking software
