About the Role

You will act as the technical point of contact for wind projects throughout their life cycle. You will lead technical diligence, preliminary design, procurement support, engineering coordination, construction oversight, inspections, commissioning reviews, system optimization, and technical support for operating facilities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
  • 1 to 3 years of professional experience in wind-project design, development, construction, or analysis.
  • Experience with collection systems, substations, gen-tie systems, interconnection switchyards, site civil infrastructure, turbine foundations, and geotechnical systems.
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD, GIS software, and Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

  • Perform technical due-diligence reviews for projects and portfolios.
  • Provide constructability guidance and lead preliminary balance-of-plant design.
  • Coordinate geotechnical investigations and micrositing activities.
  • Prepare engineering inputs for permitting and support equipment evaluation.
  • Develop and evaluate RFPs and support contract negotiations.
  • Develop scopes of work and design standards.
  • Coordinate engineering consultants and review design deliverables.
  • Respond to RFIs and evaluate contractor change-order requests.
  • Provide technical oversight and contractor coordination during construction.
  • Conduct QA/QC field inspections, develop punch lists, and perform safety assessments.
  • Review commissioning reports and evaluate system performance.
  • Optimize designs, troubleshoot systems, and develop repair strategies.
  • Mentor team members and improve project-execution processes.
