About the Role
You will engineer campus-interconnection substation designs, including high-voltage yards and medium-voltage distribution substations. You will own physical and electrical design decisions, develop layouts and equipment specifications, support utility reviews, and standardize designs for repeatable deployment.
Requirements
- High-voltage substation design
- Physical, one-line, and protection-interface design
- Utility review experience
- Transmission-class transformer, breaker, and switchgear specification
- Substation construction and energization support
- Design standardization
Responsibilities
- Engineer high-voltage yard and medium-voltage distribution substation designs
- Own physical and electrical designs, including layouts, bus configurations, and equipment specifications
- Translate utility requirements into designs that pass review
- Standardize substation designs across sites
