About the Role

Fabricate and assemble metal components using MIG, TIG, and other welding processes. Read blueprints, lay out parts, assemble components, weld steel, aluminum, and stainless steel, inspect weld quality, maintain a safe and organized workspace, care for equipment, and support production activities.

Requirements

  • 2 to 10+ years of welding experience
  • Knowledge of welding processes
  • Spot welding experience
  • MIG welding experience
  • TIG welding experience
  • Familiarity with stainless steel and mild steel
  • Ability to fabricate trailers from tube or channel
  • Ability to lift, lower, push, and pull materials up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to stand, walk, stoop, and bend for 8 hours or more daily
  • Detail orientation
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Specialized welding certifications are a bonus
  • Experience with exotic metals or advanced alloys is a bonus
  • Automated welding equipment experience is a bonus
  • Formal quality inspection experience is a bonus
