About the Role
You will own video production from initial concept through final edit. You will plan shoots, create scripts and storyboards, film robots and people in labs and deployment environments, and deliver polished videos for digital channels and events. You will maintain production workflows and ensure technical content is represented accurately.
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional video production experience with ownership of planning, shooting, and editing.
- A portfolio demonstrating creativity, visual storytelling, and production craft.
- Proficiency with cameras, lighting, audio, and editing software such as Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve.
- Experience turning loosely defined requests into clear concepts and production plans.
- Familiarity with hardware or technical products and interest in robotics.
- Ability to make complex ideas understandable through storytelling.
- Ability to work independently, collaborate across teams, and adapt to changing shoots or robot tests.
- Availability to work on-site in Milpitas and travel to customer and deployment sites as needed.
Responsibilities
- Develop engaging video concepts for technical milestones, product capabilities, and customer experiences.
- Lead end-to-end video production, including scripts, storyboards, interview questions, shot lists, schedules, equipment, people, and locations.
- Film robots, people, and environments in laboratories and deployment sites.
- Handle camera, lighting, and audio during shoots.
- Edit videos with pacing, sound, color, captions, and basic motion graphics.
- Produce product demos, prototype demos, testing videos, product reveals, deployment stories, customer testimonials, and brand films.
- Adapt videos for the company website, YouTube, LinkedIn, X, and events.
- Maintain a production calendar, manage requests and feedback, and build a searchable footage library.
- Apply the visual identity across framing, typography, graphics, motion, and sound.
- Collaborate with engineers to represent robot capabilities and test conditions accurately.
