About the Role
OKX seeks a hands-on technical VP to own enterprise AI strategy and transformation, architect production AI systems, establish AI governance, advise executive leadership, build evaluation and agent platforms, and drive AI literacy, tooling, use-case prioritization, and AI talent strategy across the organization.
Requirements
- 10+ years in AI or deep learning
- At least 5 years in a senior leadership role
- Track record of shipping production AI systems at scale
- Expertise in large language models, transformer architectures, RAG, fine-tuning, RLHF/DPO, prompt engineering, and agentic AI frameworks
- Strong publication record, open-source contributions, or recognized AI thought leadership
- Exceptional communication skills
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Statistics, or a related quantitative field
Responsibilities
- Define and refine the enterprise AI strategy
- Conduct build-vs-buy-vs-partner analyses
- Establish an AI governance framework
- Advise the CEO and executive leadership team on AI
- Maintain the AI transformation roadmap
- Evaluate AI acquisition, investment, and partnership opportunities
- Lead architecture of LLM-powered applications
- Design and implement AI-native infrastructure
- Build and optimize AI agent systems
- Create evaluation and benchmarking systems
- Design company-wide AI literacy programs
- Create internal AI tooling, templates, and playbooks
- Establish an AI Center of Excellence
- Prioritize AI use cases across business units
