About the Role
You will lead end-to-end venture design sprints from opportunity discovery through concept validation. You will research markets and competitors, identify user needs, develop venture concepts, run rapid experiments, synthesize evidence, and present recommendations to senior decision makers. You will also track emerging technologies and market shifts to inform your work.
Requirements
- Proven experience in 0 to 1 concept development venture design or similar roles
- Experience taking ideas from opportunity spaces through validated propositions
- Strong strategic thinking and bias for action
- Comfort with market research and competitive analysis
- Experience designing and running rapid experiments
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills
- Ability to prioritize ideas based on evidence
- Comfort with ambiguity and a fast paced sprint format
Responsibilities
- Break investment themes into problem spaces and opportunity areas
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis
- Generate venture concepts using human centred design principles
- Design and run rapid experiments including A/B tests prototype tests and user interviews
- Synthesize research into evidence backed recommendations
- Present validated concepts to the Investment Committee
- Collaborate with Venture Designers Venture Builders investors and functional specialists
- Track emerging technologies tools and market shifts
