About the Role
You will source, evaluate, and support early-stage crypto investments across infrastructure, applications, and middleware, with occasional analysis of liquid opportunities. You will conduct due diligence, assess teams, markets, products, business models, and tokenomics, and prepare investment memos, market maps, and competitive analyses. You will build relationships with founders, builders, and investors; manage deal flow and pipeline tracking; represent the firm at industry events; monitor portfolio companies; prepare updates and reports; provide research and strategic support; track sector trends; and publish research content.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher, preferably in computer science, engineering, or an equivalent technical field
- Ability to read technical documentation and discuss architecture and design choices with founders
- Prior investment experience at a crypto or traditional venture fund, or in an investing capacity at an operating company
- Knowledge of the crypto stack and emerging opportunities
- Research and communication skills, including clear and structured writing
- Ability to work independently
Responsibilities
- Conduct due diligence on early-stage crypto projects across sectors and architectures
- Assess teams, markets, products, business models, and tokenomics
- Build investment memos, market maps, and competitive analyses
- Develop views on emerging verticals and technologies
- Generate deal flow through proactive outreach, community engagement, and ecosystem presence
- Build relationships with founders, builders, and investors
- Screen inbound opportunities and manage pipeline tracking
- Represent the firm at events, hackathons, and conferences
- Monitor portfolio company progress against milestones and market developments
- Prepare portfolio updates and performance reports
- Support portfolio companies with research, introductions, and strategic input
- Track sector trends and contribute to investment theses
- Publish blog posts and knowledge nuggets
- Represent the firm in public-facing research and ecosystem conversations
