About the Role

You will apply firsthand nuclear triad modernization expertise to validate optimization models and decision-support tools. You will organize, clean, reconcile, interpret, and visualize acquisition planning and budget data. You will work with modelers, customers, product leadership, and external stakeholders to refine analyses and communicate findings.

Requirements

  • Firsthand experience in nuclear triad modernization with program, requirements, resourcing, or operational planning responsibility
  • Working knowledge of nuclear enterprise planning processes, acquisition programs, PPBE, POM rhythms, milestone decisions, and appropriation categories
  • Experience producing analysis that informed resourcing or program decisions and briefing it at the O6, flag, or SES level
  • Systems thinking across program, budget, and operational boundaries
  • Ability to communicate with modelers and senior operational customers
  • Active Secret clearance or above
  • Ability to commute to the Offutt Air Force Base area

Responsibilities

  • Apply nuclear triad modernization expertise to validate optimization models and decision-support tools
  • Pressure-test model assumptions and outputs against enterprise planning, programming, and execution practices
  • Design, build, and refine models with optimization and simulation experts
  • Partner with customers, product leadership, and external stakeholders
  • Organize, clean, and translate acquisition planning and budget datasets
  • Interpret and visualize program cost, schedule, and performance data
  • Reconcile inconsistent data from multiple sources and formats
