About the Role

You will prepare vehicle systems and test plans, coordinate and execute closed-course and on-road tests, evaluate vehicle performance, create detailed reports, schedule testing resources, communicate across drivers and engineers, support inspections and maintenance records, and maintain a safe, organized facility.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience
• 6 years of test engineering or related autonomous vehicle development experience
• Linux command-line and data-logging tool experience
• Python or MATLAB experience for data parsing and analysis
• Experience leading test campaigns at major proving grounds
• Knowledge of vehicle dynamics
• Knowledge of autonomous vehicle hardware and software
• Systems engineering workflow and requirements validation and verification proficiency
• Availability for flexible hours, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to travel

Responsibilities

• Prepare test plans and vehicle systems for test evolutions
• Coordinate and execute closed-course and on-road test plans
• Generate detailed vehicle-performance test reports
• Curate test schedules and coordinate testing resources
• Maintain communication among drivers, engineers, and stakeholders
• Support vehicle inspections, maintenance, and record-keeping
• Maintain a safe and organized facility
