About the Role
Talos is seeking a Technical Solutions Engineer to lead technical implementations and connectivity integrations for institutional clients and trading counterparties. The role manages onboarding from kickoff through production deployment, configures and validates client environments, troubleshoots integration issues, and develops onboarding documentation and best practices.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in client onboarding or implementation within capital markets or financial technology
- Strong client-facing communication and stakeholder leadership skills
- Experience with institutional trading systems, market connectivity, or financial infrastructure
- Working knowledge of SQL and command line environments
- Familiarity with configuration management, source control, and basic scripting, with Python preferred
- Exposure to FIX protocol, REST APIs, and JSON-based integrations
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple concurrent implementations
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end onboarding of clients and trading counterparties from kickoff through production deployment
- Lead technical integrations involving APIs, FIX connectivity, and platform configuration
- Partner with Sales, Account Management, Engineering, and external stakeholders to deliver implementations on schedule
- Manage onboarding timelines, milestones, and stakeholder communication
- Configure and validate client environments across trading and portfolio systems
- Troubleshoot integration issues and coordinate resolutions with internal engineering teams
- Develop and maintain onboarding documentation and integration best practices
