About the Role
You will build and run program management for high-priority automotive engagements. You will define milestones, timelines, deliverables, sprint execution, and roadmaps; manage OEM relationships; translate requirements into engineering work; coordinate technical roadmaps and international rollouts; unblock dependencies; and resolve issues across teams and sites.
Requirements
- 5+ years of technical project management or engineering experience in the automotive industry
- Supplier management experience
- Customer-facing experience with OEMs and executive stakeholders
- Technical knowledge of embedded systems, middleware, or ADAS
- Ability to establish program structure independently
- Ability to work across sites and time zones
- Native Japanese and fluent English
Responsibilities
- Define milestones, timelines, deliverables, and software development roadmaps
- Manage sprint and roadmap execution through series production
- Manage OEM relationships and schedule and quality commitments
- Translate customer requirements into tracked engineering work
- Provide regular customer updates
- Coordinate internal and external teams
- Align technical roadmaps and support international rollouts
- Drive issues and decisions to closure
