About the Role
You will coordinate the supply chain for electronic components and embedded systems, conduct technical reviews with suppliers, and oversee small-batch production timelines and quality. You will test and troubleshoot power electronics, digital electronics, firmware, communication protocols, and robot interfaces. You will develop functional calibration and test benches, document results, manage design transfers, and support manufacturability improvements.
Requirements
- Master’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or Embedded Systems
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in electrical system development, testing, and low-volume manufacturing
- Experience setting up functional benches for electronic components
- Ability to generate test-bench scripts and test plans
- Experience testing and integrating PCBAs for embedded or robotic systems
- Troubleshooting skills for embedded hardware and firmware
- Familiarity with power distribution, motor controllers, sensors, CAN, UART, SPI, and I2C
- Familiarity with ROS, embedded Linux, or microcontroller platforms such as STM32 or ESP32
- Familiarity with AI productivity tools
- Experience working with external suppliers
- Experience with quality control and validation of electrical components and assemblies
- Fluency in Mandarin and English
Responsibilities
- Coordinate the supply chain for electronic components and embedded systems
- Conduct technical reviews and quality assurance with suppliers
- Test and troubleshoot power electronics, digital electronics, firmware, communication protocols, and robot interfaces
- Develop and set up functional calibration and test benches
- Collaborate with mechanical engineers to integrate electronics into mechanical assemblies
- Identify, evaluate, select, and manage suppliers for electrical components and subassemblies
- Transfer designs and technical documentation to suppliers
- Support continuous improvement across assembly, testing, and deployment
- Document processes, test results, and improvements
- Coordinate design updates with the Zurich R&D team and local suppliers
- Support design improvements for manufacturability
