About the Role
You bridge business stakeholders with engineering and architecture teams to deliver capital markets technology solutions. You capture requirements, produce business and technical documentation, support project planning and software development, resolve production issues, and manage release escalations.
Requirements
- 3+ years of practical experience and product business knowledge in capital markets
- Experience capturing requirements for derivative products trading applications
- Knowledge of derivative product trade lifecycles
- Advanced knowledge of derivative financial instruments
- Knowledge of market data used to price derivative instruments
- Knowledge of front, middle, and back-office trade workflows
- Minimum 3 years of experience with SQL Server databases
- Experience with all phases of the software development life cycle
- Proficiency with Unix tools, shell scripting, SQL, PL/SQL, and SQL Loader
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Undergraduate degree or diploma in business administration, computer science, or a related field
Responsibilities
- Capture business requirements for derivative products trading applications
- Prepare business specifications and requirements documentation
- Develop business requirements documents, design documents, use cases, and process models
- Participate in project planning, progress monitoring, financial review, and consensus building
- Work across technology teams throughout the software development life cycle
- Bridge business and technology teams to deliver technical solutions
- Liaise between business stakeholders and the IT organization
- Build relationships with colleagues in global regions
- Support production issues and release-cycle escalations
- Perform ad hoc work as needed
