About the Role
You will own technical product planning for the AI inference software stack. You will define requirements for model coverage, numerics, inference and serving features, and managed-service capabilities. You will track model trends, manage releases and deprecation policies, communicate roadmaps, analyze competitors, and automate planning workflows with agentic AI.
Requirements
- 10+ years of relevant technical experience
- ML systems inference infrastructure or serving-stack engineering experience
- Knowledge of transformer internals attention MoE routing KV-cache mechanics and quantization
- Production inference serving experience
- Knowledge of multi-tenancy latency SLAs batching scheduling disaggregated serving and observability
- Knowledge of open-source inference runtimes kernels and model ingestion
- Performance analysis including utilization tokens per dollar and performance per watt
- Competitive analysis of inference providers and serving stacks
- Agentic AI workflow experience for research analysis and requirements drafting
- Communication and decision documentation skills
Responsibilities
- Lead AI inference and software technical product planning
- Write requirements for the inference software stack
- Track model and inference-system developments
- Convert ecosystem developments into engineering requirements
- Communicate product roadmaps with engineering and GTM
- Manage software lifecycles versions release trains and deprecation policy
- Create competitive briefings
- Work with ecosystem partners on technology roadmaps
- Create scope and feasibility frameworks
- Document software products
- Automate product planning processes using agentic AI
