About the Role

You will develop a focused sector or forward-looking technology thesis in your area of expertise. You will map markets, identify relevant companies and researchers, source investment opportunities, and conduct technical diligence on live or practice deals. You will write concise investment memos, defend your views in deal discussions, and participate in cohort learning, office hours, and peer reviews.

Requirements

  • Be currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of a research-intensive graduate degree program in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field
  • Have deep expertise in AI, robotics, or edge and cloud infrastructure
  • Demonstrate experience building, researching, publishing, shipping, or founding
  • Have strong analytical writing and communication skills
  • Handle confidential information with professional judgment and discretion
  • Work independently in an unstructured environment
  • Attend an in-person kickoff in Mountain View and maintain regular hybrid presence during the program

Responsibilities

  • Develop a structured sector or forward-looking technology thesis
  • Map market players, academic researchers, and commercial trends
  • Source companies and venture opportunities
  • Conduct rigorous technical diligence on live or practice opportunities
  • Write publication-ready investment memos and defend investment views
  • Participate in investment evaluation, technical diligence, memo-writing sessions, office hours, and peer reviews
