About the Role
You will write, edit, review, and publish public-facing technical reports and blog posts. You will explain model behavior, training environments, evaluation methods, and limitations for both technical and general audiences. You will take pieces from inception to publication on short deadlines, gather input from subject matter experts, fact-check assertions, and incorporate legal, policy, and reputational considerations while maintaining a clear narrative.
Requirements
- Experience working in AI safety
- Strong writing and editing skills, demonstrated through a portfolio of published work explaining technical subjects to non-specialist readers
- Familiarity with how frontier AI systems are trained, evaluated, and deployed
- Track record of shipping accurate, polished work on short deadlines and under pressure
- Ability to work with subject matter experts to understand technical concepts and fact-check assertions
- Judgment in incorporating legal, policy, and reputational considerations
- Comfort taking ownership in a fast-moving environment
- Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
- Relevant field of study demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience
