About the Role

You will design, run, and analyze robot-learning experiments, including fine-tuning, evaluation, and ablation studies. You will maintain reproducible evaluation pipelines, manage training and inference workloads, collect and document datasets, write research outputs, and help supervise undergraduate researchers.

Requirements

• BA or BS in computer science, electrical engineering, robotics, machine learning, or a related field
• Proficiency in Python and hands-on deep learning model training or fine-tuning
• Experience with MuJoCo, Isaac Sim, real robot data collection, or policy deployment
• Experience working on Linux compute clusters, including SLURM
• Ability to read and evaluate robot-learning papers independently
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills

Responsibilities

• Design, run, and analyze machine learning experiments on robot-learning models
• Build and maintain evaluation pipelines
• Manage training and inference workloads on high-performance computing resources
• Collect, clean, and document robot-platform and capability datasets
• Keep code and results reproducible in shared repositories
• Produce research visualizations and written analysis
• Contribute to grant proposals and research writing
• Prepare research documentation and track project metrics
• Co-supervise undergraduate researchers
• Collaborate with lab members and external partners
• Participate in lab meetings, workshops, and conferences
