Skeps is a microservices platform that embeds banking and financing services into merchant websites, retail stores, and one-to-one sales flows. It enables merchants to control lender networks, pricing, financing programs, reporting, and customer experiences for higher-value purchases across home improvement, retail, telecom, travel, health and wellness, automotive, and veterinary sectors. For financial institutions, Skeps provides configurable modules for credit eligibility, fraud and KYC/KYB workflows, digital cards, testing, loan origination, loan management, and multi-lender programs.

About the Role
You will design, document, and implement new systems, enhancements, and modifications that meet customer requirements. You will define scalable, maintainable, and secure software architecture; develop technical specifications; and guide implementation using established architecture and design patterns. You will collaborate to define and prioritize requirements, recommend relevant technologies, and mentor junior developers.
Requirements
- 10+ years of full-stack software product development experience with a focus on software architecture and design.
- Knowledge of software design patterns, architecture principles, and Agile methodologies.
- Node.js and Node.js internals.
- RESTful web services and APIs using ExpressJS.
- Python, Docker, Kubernetes, and Git.
- Cloud infrastructure knowledge, preferably AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Experience working with product managers and UX designers.
- Ability to mentor and train junior developers.
Responsibilities
- Design, document, and implement new software systems, enhancements, and modifications.
