About the Role
Design, document, and implement software systems and enhancements that meet customer requirements. Define scalable, maintainable, and secure architecture, develop technical specifications, guide implementation, recommend technologies, and mentor junior developers.
Requirements
- 10+ years of full-stack software product development experience with a focus on software architecture and design.
- Knowledge of software design patterns, architecture principles, and Agile methodologies.
- Node.js and Node.js internals.
- RESTful web services and APIs using ExpressJS.
- Python, Docker, Kubernetes, and Git.
- Cloud infrastructure knowledge, preferably AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Experience working with product managers and UX designers.
- Ability to mentor and train junior developers.
- Strong vision and ability to deliver quickly in a fast-paced startup culture.
Responsibilities
- Design, document, and implement new software systems, enhancements, and modifications.
- Define and implement scalable, maintainable, and secure software architecture.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to define and prioritize software requirements.
- Develop technical specifications and lead software-system implementation.
- Ensure development teams follow architecture and design patterns.
- Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies and recommend their use.
- Mentor and train junior developers.
