About the Role

You will own the vision, strategy, roadmap, and success measures for internal infrastructure platform products, including AWS cloud infrastructure, APIs, storage, and shared engineering services. You will conduct discovery with internal engineering customers, prioritise the platform backlog, partner with engineers and architects on delivery, support adoption through documentation and self-service tooling, and provide evidence-based platform recommendations to technology stakeholders.

Requirements

• 10+ years of overall experience, including product management experience with internal developer platforms, infrastructure products, or shared engineering services
• Understanding of cloud infrastructure concepts, particularly AWS
• Experience rationalising or consolidating fragmented technology landscapes
• Ability to define product success measures for platform or infrastructure contexts
• Discovery and stakeholder engagement skills with technically sophisticated internal customers
• Ability to operate in ambiguous, evolving environments
• Familiarity with platform engineering principles, including golden paths, internal developer portals, and self-service infrastructure
• Experience in fintech, financial services, or a similarly regulated industry
• Exposure to platform-as-a-product operating models, including internal SLA frameworks and FinOps chargeback or showback models
• Familiarity with SRE or DevOps practices
• Hands-on experience with API gateway technologies, particularly Kong

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain a product vision and multi-horizon roadmap for internal infrastructure platforms
• Rationalise fragmented platform capabilities by identifying overlaps, gaps, dependencies, and consolidation priorities
• Establish and track success measures for developer experience, reliability, adoption, and total cost of ownership
• Run discovery with internal software, data, and security teams
• Translate engineering requirements into prioritised product decisions
• Act as the primary product interface for engineering squads consuming platform services
• Own and prioritise the platform product backlog, including outcome-focused epics and stories
• Partner with platform engineers and architects to deliver features, reliability investments, and platform debt reduction
• Ensure new platform capabilities are adopted through documentation, enablement, and self-service tooling
• Build relationships with senior technology stakeholders and engineering leads
• Provide evidence-based recommendations on platform direction, trade-offs, and investment priorities
• Represent platform product interests in technology governance, architectural review, and planning processes
