About the Role

You will manage tax compliance and reporting across the APAC region, covering direct and indirect taxes, transfer pricing, tax research, and planning. You will coordinate with external advisors, support audits and tax authorities, prepare tax calculations, improve processes, and partner with Finance, Legal, HR, auditors, and other stakeholders on regional initiatives.

Requirements

  • At least four years of tax experience with significant exposure to APAC tax matters
  • BS or BA in Accounting Finance or a related field
  • CPA CA CTA or Master’s in Taxation preferred
  • Experience preparing or reviewing Australian corporate income tax returns and indirect tax filings
  • Strong understanding of transfer pricing principles and international tax concepts
  • Experience managing relationships with external tax advisors and tax authorities
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • High integrity and discretion when handling confidential information
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with teams
  • Strong analytical skills attention to detail and a proactive solution-oriented mindset
  • Experience with APAC indirect taxes GST or VAT preferred
  • Experience with international tax and cross-border transactions preferred
  • Experience with transfer pricing preferred
  • Experience with tax technology and automation initiatives preferred

Responsibilities

  • Manage direct and indirect tax compliance across APAC jurisdictions
  • Coordinate with external tax advisors on tax filings and local compliance
  • Support transfer pricing policy implementation documentation and compliance
  • Research complex tax issues and assess new legislation and regulatory developments
  • Partner with Finance on tax planning and appropriate tax treatment
  • Assist with tax provisions and deferred tax calculations
  • Manage tax authority correspondence audits and examinations
  • Support external auditors with tax and transfer pricing matters
  • Improve tax processes enhance controls and implement automation
  • Monitor APAC tax developments and communicate business impacts
  • Collaborate on new business initiatives entity expansions and operational changes
  • Perform other assigned tax-related duties
