About the Role
You will own automated verification for embedded software areas. You will develop component, integration, and system tests; automate replay, reliability, and fault-injection testing; investigate failures; optimize CI/CD workflows; integrate quality tools; track test metrics; report bugs; and improve testing infrastructure and safety practices.
Requirements
- System-level verification and validation experience in robotics, embedded software, or mechatronic systems
- Experience with L2+, L3, or L4 automated-driving systems
- Knowledge of Euro NCAP, DCAS, automotive cybersecurity testing, ISO/SAE 21434, and UN R155
- HiL testing experience with CAN, Ethernet, GMSL, dSPACE, Vector, or Xylon
- Python and pytest proficiency
- Interface-level hardware and software testing experience
- Experience with ASPICE, SOTIF, ISO 26262, JAMA, or X-RAY
- Knowledge of open- and closed-loop HiL replay
- CI/CD experience with GitLab CI, Buildkite, or Bazel
- Experience with Grafana, Looker, Datadog, or Jira
Responsibilities
- Develop automation for component, integration, and system functionality tests
- Automate open-loop and closed-loop replay, reliability, and fault-injection tests
- Lead root-cause investigations across engineering boundaries
- Optimize Buildkite CI/CD test workflows
- Integrate verification tools and manage artifacts
- Define and track system-test KPIs and quality metrics
- Identify software and hardware bugs and report findings through Jira
- Improve test coverage, failure traceability, and compliance reporting
- Create and follow risk assessments for testing activities
