About the Role
You develop demand forecasts and material plans for laboratory equipment, engineering components, prototype parts and consumables. You coordinate with engineering, research, development, operations and procurement teams, monitor material readiness and supplier commitments, analyse shortages and supply risks, perform scenario analysis, and support new product introduction, engineering builds and prototype development.
Requirements
- Over 5 years of supply chain management experience, preferably in the high-tech industry
- Experience supporting engineering, R&D, laboratory operations, prototype builds or NPI programs
- Understanding of supply chain planning, demand forecasting and inventory management
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Excel including VBA, data modeling, automation and ERP systems
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau or Superset
- Communication and reporting skills
- Hardware product-related sourcing experience
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain demand forecasts and material plans
- Coordinate supply chain processes with engineering, R&D and operations teams
- Partner with procurement to source and deliver critical materials and components
- Monitor material readiness, inventory levels and supplier commitments
- Analyse material shortages, excess inventory and supply risks
- Implement mitigation plans to prevent schedule impacts
- Translate project roadmaps, build schedules and engineering changes into material plans
- Perform scenario analysis for lead times, constraints, demand fluctuations and schedule changes
- Support NPI, engineering builds and prototype development
