About the Role
You will lead supplier quality, development, and performance management. You will establish supplier standards, qualify suppliers, conduct audits, lead corrective actions, support new product introduction, maintain quality-system compliance, analyze supplier trends, and communicate supplier quality risks to leadership.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related technical discipline or equivalent relevant experience
- 7+ years in supplier quality, manufacturing quality, quality engineering, or a related field
- Experience in complex hardware manufacturing
- Knowledge of supplier quality management, audits, corrective actions, and root-cause analysis
- Experience with AS9100, ISO 9001, or similar quality systems
- Understanding of engineering drawings, GD&T, manufacturing processes, and inspection techniques
- Ability to lead supplier corrective actions and improve supplier performance
- Experience with supplier scorecards, KPIs, and reporting
- Willingness to travel to supplier locations as needed
Responsibilities
- Own and improve the supplier quality program
- Establish supplier quality standards, processes, metrics, and expectations
- Lead supplier qualification, onboarding, approval, and performance management
- Develop supplier scorecards
- Conduct supplier audits, assessments, and on-site evaluations
- Resolve supplier-related nonconformances and quality escapes
- Drive root-cause analysis and corrective actions
- Manage Supplier Corrective Action Requests
- Support supplier readiness for new product introductions and production ramps
- Support First Article Inspection and production qualification
- Maintain supplier quality processes consistent with AS9100 and ISO 9001
- Communicate supplier quality risks and trends to leadership
