About the Role
Source materials, equipment, and services for data center, power generation, innovation, and corporate projects. Request and evaluate supplier proposals, identify and pre-qualify suppliers, manage procurement workflows, build supplier relationships, coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, and communicate project progress and challenges.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field preferred, or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of experience in direct procurement roles
- Strong communication skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Responsibilities
- Request quotes for major equipment and services from suppliers
- Prepare bid summaries and provide award recommendations
- Locate and pre-qualify potential suppliers
- Manage procurement activities in internal systems
- Create Jira tickets and assist with purchase order approvals
- Communicate process changes and approvals to stakeholders
- Develop and maintain supplier relationships
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, legal stakeholders, and suppliers
- Communicate project progress and challenges to stakeholders
