About the Role
Own product-level revenue and gross margin forecasting, guide resource allocation and capacity planning, manage recurring performance reporting, partner with Product and Engineering leaders, contribute to Board and executive materials, and mentor junior finance professionals.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in FP&A, strategic finance, management consulting, investment banking, or private equity.
- Direct exposure to product or engineering finance at a high-growth technology company.
- Strong command of product P&L mechanics, revenue and gross margin forecasting, headcount and capacity planning, and software unit economics.
- Ability to own ambiguous, judgment-intensive problems with minimal oversight.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience mentoring junior team members.
- Experience partnering directly with Product or Engineering leaders is strongly preferred.
- Fintech or financial services experience is a plus but not required.
Responsibilities
- Own revenue and gross margin forecasts for product areas.
- Partner with Product and Engineering leaders on headcount planning, capacity forecasting, and OpEx discipline.
- Manage recurring reporting, KPI tracking, and variance analysis.
- Identify risks, opportunities, and resource trade-offs.
- Coordinate with GTM Finance on go-to-market approach, targets, and economics.
- Contribute analysis and narrative to Board materials and strategic reviews.
- Mentor junior Strategic Finance team members.
