About the Role
You will design and execute data-driven startup marketing programs for Seed to Series B companies. You will own founder events, hackathons, roundtables, and community activations; build relationships with VCs and accelerators; manage budgets and outcomes; and deliver founder insights to product and marketing partners.
Requirements
- 4–7+ years of experience in field, community, event, growth, or revenue marketing
- Experience in or with startups, ideally in B2B SaaS or developer tools
- Understanding of founders and early-stage engineering teams
- Ability to build and optimize programs using data
- Experience producing founder dinners, hackathons, or other standout events
- Ability to travel approximately 20%
- Ability to work in the San Francisco office
Responsibilities
- Design and execute a data-driven marketing plan for the startup segment
- Run founder events, hackathons, roundtables, and community activations
- Build relationships with VCs, accelerators, and startup partners
- Identify high-value ecosystem partners
- Surface and amplify founder and customer stories
- Own event programs from ideation through follow-up
- Track activation, usage, retention, and advocacy outcomes
- Manage event budgets and prioritize high-impact investments
- Partner with Events, Growth, PMM, and Field Engineering
- Provide founder-community insights to Product and Marketing
- Travel to host events and support hackathons
