About the Role
You will design and build end-to-end test infrastructure for inference deployments, automate tests from user stories and acceptance criteria, and run tests on shared GPU and accelerator hardware. You will own release strategy, versioning, promotion, rollback, release gates, and release documentation. You will help transition to independently released components, define compatibility and upgrade testing, partner on test strategy, and enable engineers to own tests for their work.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in test infrastructure, software engineering in test, release engineering, or a related role
- Experience owning end-to-end testing or releases for distributed systems
- Track record of improving release reliability or speed through test or release automation
- Experience with on-premises clusters and public cloud test and release infrastructure
- Strong Kubernetes experience, including Helm, operators, custom resources, and automated cluster setup and teardown
- Experience designing CI/CD pipelines, artifact versioning, environment promotion, and rollback
- Proficiency in Python and pytest or a comparable framework
- Fluency in a second programming language sufficient to read and test qualified code
- Experience testing on shared GPU or accelerator fleets
- Experience using AI and agentic tools for testing, failure triage, and log and code search
Responsibilities
- Design and build end-to-end test infrastructure for on-demand inference deployments
- Turn user stories and acceptance criteria into automated end-to-end tests
- Run tests on GPU and Corsair nodes and manage test-signal quality
- Own release strategy, versioning, cadence, branching, promotion, rollback, release notes, and go/no-go criteria
- Lead the transition to independently released components
- Define functional, upgrade, compatibility, accuracy, and performance release gates
- Partner on a shared test strategy and testable acceptance criteria
- Enable feature engineers to write and own tests
