About the Role
You will design, build, operate, and drive adoption of security foundations across the fleet. You will develop cryptographic, identity, authorization, serialization, and zero-trust access systems; partner across functions; maintain production services; and mentor engineers.
Requirements
- 8+ years of software engineering experience building security-relevant production systems
- Programming skills in Go, Rust, or Python
- Knowledge of OAuth 2.0, OIDC, JWT, service-to-service authentication, and policy-based access control
- Experience with PKI, X.509, mTLS, and workload identity
- Applied cryptography knowledge, including key management
- Experience operating high-reliability Kubernetes services across cloud and on-premises environments
- Experience driving ambiguous technical problems across teams
Responsibilities
- Build cryptographic frameworks, mTLS infrastructure, secure serialization, and authorization systems
- Partner with product, research, infrastructure, and security teams on framework integration
- Scope, design, build, and operate security services and libraries
- Build and operate a zero-trust access gateway
- Design and roll out least-privilege authorization frameworks
- Own cryptographic frameworks and libraries
- Mentor engineers and contribute to hiring
