About the Role
You will deliver trajectory generation and controls features from design through integration. You will develop modern C++ and Python software, use testing and simulation, collaborate on autonomous-driving solutions, and help provide a controlled, safe, and comfortable vehicle experience.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related field
- Five or more years of software engineering experience
- Experience building motion-planning or control systems for real-world applications
- Knowledge of optimal control or dynamic optimization, including model predictive control or real-time trajectory generation
- Knowledge of vehicle dynamics, system identification, and real-time control algorithms
- Fluency in modern C++
- Experience with Python
Responsibilities
- Deliver trajectory generation and controls features from design through integration
- Provide input to team roadmaps and deliver features on time
- Work with systems engineers to deliver safe, well-tested products
- Write modern C++ and Python software
- Use unit testing, simulation, and log simulation
- Collaborate with autonomy teams to design and deploy robust autonomous-driving solutions
- Participate in design and iteration exercises and align stakeholders
