About the Role
You will help define the engineering vision, contribute to the design and development of core infrastructure for a new cryptographic system, and work on systems such as a compiler and zero-knowledge proof library. You will learn and contribute to advances in cryptography, present your work at conferences, and develop and mentor other engineers.
Requirements
- Significant experience as a backend engineer and/or proficiency in a systems programming language such as C or Rust
- Experience building products in traditional finance, specifically trading, or in DeFi
- Familiarity with linear algebra and discrete mathematics
- Interest in learning mathematics and cryptography
- Comfort with ambiguity and taking on a leadership role in engineering
- Interest in developing and mentoring engineers
- Interest in collaboration
