About the Role

You will set technical direction for real time fraud scoring and fraud attributes. You will lead complex initiatives while writing production code investigating data debugging systems building prototypes and developing product integrations that turn validated fraud insights into reliable customer solutions.

Requirements

Typically 8+ years of experience building and operating backend or distributed systems at scale
Comfort working hands on in a codebase
Strong product judgment and ability to translate ambiguous problems into deliverables
Ability to balance rapid validation with durable architecture
Experience building data or API products is desirable
Fraud domain experience is desirable
Interest in agentic systems is desirable

Responsibilities

Set technical direction for real time fraud systems
Lead ambiguous multi quarter initiatives
Build prototypes and production systems for fraud detection
Investigate data and debug production systems
Collaborate with data science machine learning product and fraud researchers
Develop APIs integrations and product modules
Provide hands on technical mentorship
