About the Role
You will independently scope and lead complex platform projects, make architectural decisions, and build reliable infrastructure and systems used across products. You will partner with research and other functions to productize capabilities, operate systems at scale, and improve platform performance, reliability, security, and usability.
Requirements
- 8 years of backend or platform engineering experience building scalable distributed systems
- Service-oriented architecture, networking, and systems design
- Python, Go, Rust, or similar systems language
- Cloud infrastructure such as GCP, AWS, or Azure
- Kubernetes or multi-cloud networking experience
- Ability to own work from design through operations
