About the Role
You will lead the design and delivery of scalable backend systems, APIs, and infrastructure. You will own backend features from ideation through launch, build real-time collaboration and messaging capabilities, optimize AI-driven features, and guide architecture, code reviews, and engineering standards.
Requirements
- 5+ years of backend software engineering experience
- At least 2+ years in senior backend roles
- Expertise in distributed systems, RESTful APIs, real-time APIs, and cloud-native infrastructure
- System design skills for reliable, scalable high-traffic backend services
- Experience launching impactful backend features
- Ability to lead complex projects and troubleshoot problems
- Written and verbal communication skills

- Architect and develop scalable backend systems and APIs
