About the Role
You will build and operate backend systems on the token-generation path, own latency and reliability targets, and lead incident response. You will safely deliver changes through gradual rollouts and rollbacks, improve per-token performance, and set the technical direction for the sampling path.

Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate backend systems on the token-generation path
- Maintain SLOs and error budgets for latency and availability
- Lead incident response and postmortem follow-through
- Deliver safe gradual rollouts and fast rollbacks
- Improve tail latency and per-token performance
- Lead design reviews and technical trade-off decisions
- Mentor engineers and improve operational practices
