About the Role
You will design, build, and operate AI-powered growth experiences for customer acquisition, onboarding, and lifecycle engagement. You will own an AI Voice Agent, scale AI-driven email systems, build reliable APIs and services, establish applied AI engineering practices, make architectural decisions, and mentor engineers.
Requirements
- 8+ years of software development experience
- Experience building full-stack systems including frontend applications, backend APIs, and production services
- Experience in growth-related product areas such as onboarding, communications, workflow automation, CRM, lifecycle marketing, or customer journey systems
- Applied AI experience with prompt design, tool integration, conversational experiences, content generation systems, or evaluation-driven iteration
- Experience owning multi-quarter initiatives with measurable business and customer impact
- Strong product and engineering judgment
- Ability to collaborate across engineering and business stakeholders
- Experience mentoring engineers
- Experience with or interest in Ruby on Rails
- Ability to build well-structured, maintainable, well-documented code
- Ability to communicate across engineering teams and with business stakeholders
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate AI-powered growth experiences across onboarding and lifecycle engagement
- Own the technical strategy and implementation for an AI Voice Agent
- Build and scale AI-driven email systems using ACE
- Partner with Product, Data, Design, Marketing, and Platform teams to identify opportunities and ship improvements
- Design reliable APIs, backend services, and frontend experiences
- Establish engineering patterns for applied AI development
- Make architectural decisions for conversational systems and communication workflows
- Mentor engineers and improve technical execution and product quality
