About the Role
You will lead technical direction for frontend engineering while contributing as an individual contributor. You will build and maintain core user-facing features such as song and artist pages, artist tools, community management, governance, and membership functionality. You will design and improve frontend infrastructure, architect scalable systems, and create reusable components with robust unit and integration tests. You will prioritize performance and accessibility, raise code quality and developer experience, and mentor other engineers while participating in product decisions that shape the end user experience.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience writing production software
- Live between GMT-8 and GMT-5
- Advanced knowledge of React
- Advanced knowledge of TypeScript
- Public contributions to open source projects
- Experience with Next.js
- Experience with GraphQL
- Full-stack experience with Node.js
