About the Role
You will define multi-year technical and multi-cloud strategy for enterprise systems. You will lead high-impact initiatives and architectural decisions, design scalable enterprise abstractions, partner across product and infrastructure functions, mentor Staff engineers, and address systemic technical risks involving security, privacy, governance, and connectivity.
Requirements
- Have engineering experience at Staff or Senior Staff level
- Shape technical strategy for large-scale cloud service provider or enterprise SaaS companies
- Lead high-leverage technical outcomes through influence
- Have expertise in distributed systems and API architecture
- Write design documents, make architectural decisions, and code critical paths
- Work effectively across organizational boundaries
- Have expertise in enterprise security, identity, compliance, governance, permissions, and connectivity
Responsibilities
- Define and drive multi-year technical and multi-cloud strategy
- Lead high-complexity engineering initiatives across teams
- Make major organization-wide architectural decisions
- Partner with infrastructure, safeguards, customer success, inference, and platform functions
