About the Role
You will own products from design through development, testing, and production. You will work with product managers to understand user needs, propose technical solutions, coordinate projects for junior engineers, and report impact. You will build and operate backend services, delivery integrations, fleet-management tools, and device-telemetry systems.
Requirements
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent technical experience
- 7+ years of professional software development experience
- Experience designing and leading implementation of platform features and services deployed in AWS
- 3+ years supporting business-critical production services
- Experience developing backend services in Go or strong fluency in Python, Java, Rust, or C++ with willingness to work primarily in Go
- 3+ years of strong SQL database fundamentals
- 2+ years of experience with message queue and pub/sub frameworks such as Kafka or RabbitMQ
