About the Role
You will own robotic-grasping intelligence from model design through deployment. You will build training and evaluation pipelines, translate research into production systems, use field telemetry for improvement, validate strategies in simulation, deploy to robotic hardware, and collaborate on technical design and code reviews.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience shipping end-to-end machine-learning systems
- Experience with data pipelines, training, evaluation, deployment, and production ownership
- Experience deploying machine-learning models in active physical robotic systems
- Expertise in bespoke neural-network model design
- Experience architecting and running medium-to-large-scale cloud training pipelines
- Mastery of Python and modern software engineering practices
- Knowledge of motion planning, kinematics, geometry, and perception
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Robotics, Computer Science, or a closely related technical field
- Ability to communicate machine-learning concepts across specialized engineering domains
Responsibilities
- Own intelligence for robotic grasping, gripper configurations, and tool selection
- Design models and training pipelines and deploy them to the robotic fleet
- Improve production systems using field telemetry
- Design evaluation infrastructure for live operational environments
- Engineer and validate grasping and manipulation strategies in simulation
- Collaborate on technical vision, code reviews, design discussions, and debugging
- Use AI coding assistants and modern development workflows to accelerate engineering
