About the Role
You will design, build and support cloud infrastructure for critical services. You will automate deployments, improve resiliency and observability, evaluate technologies, contribute to architecture decisions and collaborate on development and operations. You will also communicate technical knowledge, identify improvements and participate in an on-call rotation.
Requirements
- Experience with scalable distributed systems architecture
- Experience with cloud platforms
- Programming experience with Go
- Experience with Docker and containerization
- Experience with Kubernetes and orchestration
- Experience defining automated service deployments
- Understanding of deployment automation best practices
- Experience using Git in a team environment
- Computer Science degree or equivalent experience
- Understanding of networking routing naming security performance and failure modes is advantageous
- Understanding of identity and access management is advantageous
- Experience with deployment instrumentation and management is advantageous
- Experience resolving customer deployment issues is advantageous
- Experience with distributed teams and CI/CD pipelines is advantageous
