About the Role

Collaborate with leadership and Finance, Product, and Engineering teams to architect, implement, and operate technical solutions and processes that protect Ripple's digital assets. Design secure transaction processes, build security automation and tooling, monitor digital asset security posture, respond to smart contract risks, mentor engineering teams, and advise on security methodologies, tooling, and vendor integrations.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of industry experience in security and/or engineering focused on securing digital assets.
  • Strong understanding of digital asset security architecture and end-to-end on-chain and off-chain transaction security.
  • Working knowledge of MPC, HSMs, cryptography, and cryptographic key lifecycle management.
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript and/or Python.
  • Ability to handle sensitive work with discretion and professionalism.
  • Clear technical communication and writing skills.
  • Comfort operating with ambiguity, complexity, and multiple assignments.

Responsibilities

  • Design, code, implement, and maintain technical solutions and operational processes for secure high-value digital asset transactions.
  • Develop and deploy security automation and tooling to measure, monitor, and communicate real-time digital asset security posture.
  • Maintain and enhance programs to monitor and respond to smart contract risks.
  • Guide engineering teams on digital asset and smart contract security best practices.
  • Drive security-by-design principles and foster security ownership.
  • Advise on security engineering methodologies, tooling decisions, and vendor integrations.
