About the Role

You will design and enhance the architecture of cold, hot, and warm wallets, develop private-key management systems, and improve architectures using technologies such as HSM and MPC. You will automate wallet security policies, build threat-monitoring systems, lead incident response, and review blockchain integrations and wallet logic for vulnerabilities.

Requirements

  • Deep understanding of cryptography, including symmetric and asymmetric keys, hashes, and digital signatures, and key-management principles
  • Experience leading the design of security architectures for systems with high security requirements
  • Proficiency in at least one of Python, Go, Java/Kotlin, or Rust, with the ability to develop security solutions and systems
  • Practical experience applying Secure SDLC and threat modeling
  • Experience designing fintech or custody-solution security architectures and developing related systems is preferred
  • Experience developing or operating HSM- or MPC-based systems is preferred
  • Experience implementing and automating wallet and key-management policies through Policy as Code is preferred
  • Experience analyzing vulnerabilities from an attacker’s perspective and designing or validating proactive defenses is preferred
  • A master's degree or higher in computer engineering, cryptography, information security, or a related field is preferred
  • Knowledge of and experience applying Zero Trust principles is preferred

  • Design and enhance cold, hot, and warm wallet architecture
  • Lead the wallet security level and respond to evolving threats
  • Design and develop private-key management systems
  • Improve architecture and research new security technologies using HSM and MPC
  • Establish procedural security for key management and wallet operations
  • Automate and validate security policies through Policy as Code
  • Model threats to wallet systems and interfaces
  • Build security-monitoring systems to detect and respond to anomalies
  • Lead responses to security incidents
  • Review blockchain integrations and wallet logic for vulnerabilities
  • Propose technical solutions and participate in code improvements
