About the Role
You will model on chain economics translate that work into product and protocol decisions and ship. You will build models that analyze yield mechanics and risk, develop tooling, and communicate quantitative insights to non technical stakeholders to influence key decisions. You will prototype, read or contribute to Solidity to collaborate with smart contract engineers and ensure rigorous standards and clear documentation.
Requirements
- Strong quantitative foundation
- Strong Python skills for modeling simulation and on chain data analysis (pandas numpy scipy web3.py)
- Deep DeFi fluency including understanding lending markets AMMs and rate models
- Engineering capability to prototype models and read or contribute to Solidity
- Excellent communication skills capable of explaining quantitative work to non-quant stakeholders
- Bias to ship and influence product decisions with rigorous quantitative input
Responsibilities
- Model and validate the economics of on chain products including yield mechanics rate dynamics risk parameters and scenario analysis
- Design new products and protocol mechanisms in collaboration with engineering and product teams
- Support growth decisions where quantitative input is valuable such as asset listings and incentive design
- Build tooling and dashboards that make quantitative reasoning a shared capability across the organization
